ARE YOU A RACIST?
1. If you tell people you are the least racist person or you don’t have a racist bone in your body, you are a racist.2. If you think people of another race need to go back where they came from, you are a racist.3. If you feel, think, believe, or express that white people are superior, you are racist.4. If you feel any race other than yours is inferior, you are a racist.5. If you have told a person of color that they were overqualified for the job you were hiring, you are a racist6. If you tell your children, not to date outside their race, you are a racist.7. If you tell Black people to get over their past, because they were not living back then, you are a racist.8. If you are uncomfortable in a room where 50% or more of the people are of color, you are a racist.9. If you work in a retail store and you follow and watch people of color more than you do white people, you are a racist10. If you claim some of your best friends are Black or people of color and you don't know their first and last name or have ever been to their home, you are a racist.11. If you feel people of color should change their ethnic names, you are racist.12. If you believe people of color have equal opportunity, you are a racist.13. If you believe children of color receive an equity education, you are a racist.14. If you fear people of color because of their skin color, you are a racist.15. If you think “Black Lives Matter “ is about Black lives only, you are a racist.16. If you use racial slurs, you are a racist.17. If you step off the elevator to keep from riding with a person of color, you are a racist.18. If you cross the street to avoid walking past a person of color, you are a racist.19. If you have assumed that a person of color cannot afford something expensive, you are a racist.20. If you bully someone because of the color of their skin, you are a racist.21. If you are white and feel you can use the N-word because Black people use it, you are a racist.22. If you see a young Black child crying and fearful of the police, and your reaction is that they are that way due to their parents telling them bad things, you are a racist.23. If you accused a person of color of a crime you know they did not commit or you remained silent knowing they were innocent, you are a racist.24. If you suppressed evidence to get a conviction of a person of color, you are a racist.25. If you cover up a crime reported by a person of color about a white person, you are a racist.26. If you put children and adults of color in cages when they are following the law, you are a racist.27. When you are elected by the people to work on their behalf and you follow along with a known racist instead, you are a racist.28. When you have the power to change laws for equity and you do not, you are a racist.29. When you have the power to remove a dangerous racist from a powerful position and you do not, you are a racist.30. If you label Black people as angry people, you are racist.31. If you feel that America is for whites only, you are a racist.32. If you say people of color need to let go of the past and move on, you are a racist.33. If you use the N-word in the comfort of your home or around your white friends, you are a racist.34. If you see a person of color driving a nice car, especially if you cannot afford one, you automatically feel they must be selling drugs or stole the car, you are a racist.35. If you think all students of color who attend private schools and universities are on financial aid, you are a racist.36. If you cannot/will not say the words, “Black Lives Matter,” you are racist.37. If you are at work/school around your colleagues who are majority white and you are missing something from your desk, and the first person you suspect is the person of color, you are a racist.38. If you think people of color who attend Ivy League colleges/universities are on an athletic scholarship, you are a racist.39. If you do not acknowledge that white people stole the land known as the USA, from the indigenous people AKA Native Americans, you are racist.40. If you do not acknowledge that white men brought Black people from Africa to build their wealth here in America, you are a racist.41. If you believe people should only marry within their own race, you are racist.42. If you use the term, “you people” when you are speaking to people of color, you are racist.43. After you hear a person of color speak, and your reaction is, that they are so articulate, then you are a racist.44. If you grab your purse when a person of color walks by you or riding in an elevator with you, you are racist. 45. If you are in a non-threatening situation with a person of color and your impulse is to call the police, then you are a racist.46. If you believe only white people are racist, you are racist. 47. If you do not have any idea whether you are a racist or not, you are racist.
